Matt is a digital marketing veteran having led specialist digital
operations in the UK, Australia and New Zealand. His experience
encompasses digital marketing strategy, media, mobile, Search Engine
Marketing, eCRM & web development.
Matt arrived in Australia in
2002 to found ZenithOptimedia’s digital media unit which is one of
Australia’s largest & most awarded digital media teams. The unit
provides media strategy, planning, buying, ROI validation and data
analytics for clients including Qantas, Nestle, Lion Nathan, NAB and
Foxtel.
In 2006, Matt formed part of the management team that
launched Publicis’ full-service digital marketing agency, Publicis
Digital, which provides services for clients including Nike, Hertz and
Tourism Victoria.
A renowned digital marketing strategist, Matt has developed innovative and award winning initiatives for clients including L’Oreal Paris, Nike, IBM, Qantas and NAB.
Matt is intimately involved in industry development, having held seats on the Media Federations’ Digital Committee, taught the Advertising Federation of Australia’s eMarketing Certificate and judged numerous industry awards. He is a regular commentator in the press and an in-demand conference speaker - recent engagements include Ad Tech 2008 (social media) and Mobile Content World 2008 (mobile advertising).
He holds a Masters of Commerce (First Class Honours) but believes his big record collection is a much better indicator of character.
